Role Overview : Occupational Therapist We are seeking passionate, family-centred Occupational Therapists to join our growing team. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based interventions, support families, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment to help children reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide family-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and adolescents through mostly individual and occasional group sessions, primarily in our child development centre Deliver occasional virtual consultation services as appropriate. Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapy and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure best-practice service delivery. Offer support and clinical guidance to team members. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and service-planning activities. Maintain accurate, confidential documentation using electronic clinical record systems. Senior Grade OTs assist with parent and teacher training sessions Maintain therapy rooms and equipment to ensure safety and cleanliness. Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to internal CPD opportunities. Support service development initiatives and occasionally deliver training workshops for parents or educators. Contribute to promotional and media-related activities where required. Undertake additional duties relevant to a Paediatric Occupational Therapist. Senior Grade OTs may provide supervision and mentorship to basic-grade therapists. Report directly to the Clinical Services Manager. Qualifications & Experience Degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy, validated for practice in Ireland. Ideally, a minimum of 1+ years' post-qualification experience in paediatric OT, with experience supporting children with additional needs including neurodiversity, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing differences, and Down syndrome. ADOS/ADIR training desirable but not essential Ayres Sensory Integration training desirable. AOTI membership and CORU registration are essential. Garda vetting clearance and satisfactory references required. Access to own transport for occasional school visits. A strong passion for paediatric practice and commitment to ongoing learning. Hours & Contract Full-time roles: 35 hours per week, flexible scheduling available. Part-time roles and weekend work are also available. All positions are permanent.
