Position Overview
The Diagnostic Technician will be responsible for accurately diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and drivability issues across a wide range of vehicles. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to fixing vehicles right the first time.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform advanced diagnostic testing on electrical and mechanical vehicle systems.
* Identify root causes of drivability issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
* Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools, scanners, and software.
* Perform test drives and verify completed repairs.
* Work closely with service advisors and other technicians to communicate findings.
* Maintain accurate repair and diagnostic records.
* Stay current with evolving automotive technology and training.

Requirements
* 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician (diagnostic experience preferred).
* Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems including electrical, engine management, and emissions.
* Proficiency with scan tools, diagnostic software, and electrical testing equipment.
* ASE Certifications (A6 Electrical/Electronic Systems, AB Engine Performance) preferred.
* Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
