Position Description
The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting oversees the delivery of accurate financial statements, coordinates audits, and ensures compliance with GAAP across SEI's investment funds in EMEA. The role involves designing and improving the Financial Reporting operating model, fostering a risk-mitigating control environment, and collaborating with fund accounting and other functions. It is a senior, client-facing role that drives change and process improvements.
What you'll do:
1. Subject Matter Expert: Lead in financial statement production, support teams in compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, and technical queries. Ensure training on latest GAAP standards.
2. Client Financial Statements & Audits: Prepare financial statements, liaise with auditors, manage audit queries, and ensure quality control. Oversee work allocation and maintain departmental procedures.
3. Client Relationships: Develop and manage client relationships, ensuring service excellence.
4. Sales Support: Provide technical expertise for sales processes.
5. Process Improvement: Review and enhance operating models and processes.
6. Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with Irish regulatory filings and returns.
7. People Management: Conduct appraisals, provide training, succession planning, and ensure HR policies are followed.
What you will bring:
* 15+ years in financial reporting within funds or audit of fund clients.
* Experience in strategic or change management roles.
* ACA qualification.
* Deep knowledge of the Funds industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
