Role Profile
The Assistant Faculty Manager provides operational and strategic assistance to the Faculty, ensuring the effective delivery of academic and research administration, governance, and student services. The post holder will work with the Executive Dean and the Faculty Manager to assist the Faculty in achieving its strategic objectives. The Assistant Faculty Manager will report to the Faculty Manager or nominee(s) and will liaise closely with the faculty administrative team, heads of school, academic colleagues, professional staff in central university units, and external stakeholders on a regular basis. As the implementation of the Faculty Strategy and DCU Operating Model within the Faculty office progresses, the range of duties attaching to the post will be subject to change. The role requires significant leadership, management, and project delivery skills in a complex higher education environment.

Salary Scale: Professional 6: €63,704 - €90,749. Refer to DCU Payscales for the applicable payscale. Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.

Remote Working Policy
DCU operates a Remote Working Policy. Employees may be approved for up to 2 days of remote working per week (or an appropriate pro-rata amount for those part time). Any remote working arrangement will be reflective of the predominant on-campus working environment and the core University value of "Student Focused". All staff will be based on campus for the majority of their working week to ensure sustained on-campus engagement and experience. The terms of the remote working policy will apply.
