Business Development Specialist - Data Centers and Mission Critical Facilities
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team, responsible for generating new business and maintaining current accounts within the data center industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of contacts and relationships with key players in the sector.
The primary focus of this role is to develop and implement growth strategies to expand our expertise and footprint in data centers and mission critical facilities. This includes identifying new business prospects, engaging in sales calls, creating proposals, and participating in trade shows and conferences.
To succeed in this position, you will need to have a deep understanding of the data center industry, including colocation, enterprise, and hyperscale markets. You will also need to be able to create value through strategic partnerships and collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate new business and maintain current accounts within the data center industry.
* Develop and implement growth strategies to expand our expertise and footprint in data centers and mission critical facilities.
* IDentify new business prospects and engage in sales calls.
* Create proposals and participate in trade shows and conferences.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in business development or sales, with a minimum of 3 years in the data center industry.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related subject.
* A strong network of contacts and relationships with key players in the data center industry.
* Experience in C-level interaction and partnering.
* Proven track record of managing and closing profitable deals.
