On behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable supplier of Irish meat products, headquartered in Tullamore, we are recruiting a proactive and detail-oriented Stock Control / Office Administrator to join their team.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting stock control and administrative functions across various departments. This includes preparing and maintaining stock and production reports, reconciling stock movements, managing essential documentation, and liaising with internal teams, cold storage providers, factories, and regulatory bodies such as veterinary authorities.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, demonstrate initiative in resolving operational issues, and support process improvements—while also collaborating closely with the sales team and wider operations staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily office operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
* Prepare, maintain, and reconcile stock and production reports.
* Ensure accurate documentation for intakes and stock movements, aligning paperwork with operational activities.
* Communicate effectively with internal departments, external partners, and regulatory authorities.
* Provide front-of-house duties including welcoming visitors and clients in a professional manner.
* Manage office correspondence and relay information promptly to relevant stakeholders.
* Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment.
* Organise and support transportation logistics as required.
* Undertake general administrative duties and provide support to other team members as needed.
Requirements
* Completion of Leaving Certificate; further education is an advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is desirable (training will be provided).
* Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
* A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
