Accommodation Director Position
The Accommodation Director will oversee all aspects of hotel cleanliness and maintenance in accordance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the efficient running of the Accommodation department, ensuring guest care and comfort are delivered.
2. Manage forecasts and operating costs within the accommodation department.
3. Lead the team to ensure standards are in place.
4. Conduct daily inspections and coordinate work schedules in all areas.
5. Ensure assignments carried out by employees are completed and a thorough handover is completed each shift.
6. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all guest bedrooms and public areas.
7. Implement and adhere to stock control procedures in the department.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in managing a hotel Accommodation department.
* Working knowledge of property management systems.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to influence change.
* Experience with KPIs, forecasting, and staff training.
* Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation.
