Warehouse Operator Location: Castlebar Reporting To: Warehouse Supervisor Shift Pattern: Day Shift Job Summary: To provide efficient and effective day to day tasks of the dispatch, packing and goods in departments. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the data entry and inventory of stock Provides clerical support for Warehouse Management Assist with general duties within the warehouse environment Obtaining and filing of all PODs Ability to follow processes, procedures and follow H.S.E guidelines as per company policy Performing and recording stock checks promptly and accurately Ability to scrutinise warehouse data reports as per internal/external audit requirements Arrange and organise transport, couriers to pick up and deliver material Planning and organising external services from suppliers and vendors Quarantine stock and arrange rework Generate picking notes from the warehouse management system Complete work tickets after pack & file Correct book in of material for errors Return stock physically and on WMS to obtain true stock accuracy and valuations Any other duties and responsibilities management deem appropriate from time to time Skills & Knowledge: Accomplished level of computer literacy skills e.g.Microsoft Office, Excel, Q-Pulse, SAP and other warehouse management systems Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work as part of a team Good level of English language required Adequate level of mathematic ability required. Education & Qualifications: Leaving Certificate or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable. Full clean driving licence desirable not essential.
