Sous Chef Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our team in a corporate catering operation in Dublin. This daytime role is perfect for a chef who can support the Head Chef in leading a busy kitchen, maintaining high food and service standards, and driving a positive team culture.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen. They will be able to provide valid work documentation and possess strong communication, organisational, and people skills. A passion for food and service, with the ability to lead by example, is essential.
Responsibilities of the Sous Chef include supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, leading and guiding the team during service to ensure smooth operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for assisting with menu development, contributing creative ideas, taking responsibility for ordering, stock rotation, and cost control when required. Additionally, they must uphold HACCP procedures at all times.
