Introduction to the jobWithin ASML, the Customer Support (CS) group is responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations.Our DUV UIR Sector owns the Upgrade, Install and Relocation of machines at our customers sites.Role and responsibilitiesThe DUV Local Coordinator is responsible for managing the day to day UIR operation at our customers site. They are responsible for the (local) preparation, execution, and wrap-up of UIR Projects at their respective site, ensuring safe execution and delivery of quality ASML products to our Customer.The local coordinator will:Work safely and role model the ASML Safety culture at our customer site, working in-line with both ASML and customer/local safety regulations Drive Safe execution of all UIR projects by ensuring key safety processes and methods are followed, inclusive of Safety Preparation for all projects (training, safety induction etc)GEMBA to monitor and manage safe execution of all projects Be the benchmark for Quality - Lead by example in the UIR Operation (Do it Right first time approach) through thorough preparation, flawless execution and effective wrap-up to ensure learnings are taken from execution Support the operation while being conscious of Cost, Cycle Time and customer commitmentsEnsure all logistics-related (parts and tools) processes are followed to prepare for execution / escalations Communicate plans, schedules and progress in a timely manner to the appropriate stakeholders - Both Internal and External Plan and facilitate material deliveries with customer and 3rd Parties Be a 'hub' for operational management, communicating with key stakeholder - Internal, Customer, 3rd Party, CSCM & 3PL (Logistics), Local HVM TeamEnsure all learnings from execution are documented and implemented to support the flawless execution modelPrepare UIR projects using structured preparation workflows Support the UIR Project Lead in managing daily operationDaily internal and external project progress reporting Education and experienceBachelor level or above in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, (Applied) Physics or comparable2-3 years of relevant field experience, with knowledge and understanding of the field operationSkillsTeam playerAble to work with colleagues from different cultures / backgrounds Stress Resistant Ability to work independently and under pressure Pragmatic attitude, motivated and self-sufficientOrganised and process driven with ability to focus on clear, concise documentation of daily eventsPro-active, shows initiative and exhibits high levels of ownershipGood stakeholder management - Ability to manage both internal and external customersVery good administrative skillsGood communication skills, verbal and written, in EnglishOther informationTravel is estimated up to 25%. Due to the dynamic nature of the UIR Business, this percentage is an estimation and may change depending on the requirements of our regional customers. This percentage can be revisited in mutual agreement.Main locations for travel are currently within EU. Candidates must have the ability to successfully apply for Visas.This is an on-site role, and does not support remote working.This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
