A Transport business is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their office team.
You will be responsible for a variety of general bookkeeping and record keeping functions on behalf of the company This role is full time, Monday - Friday, hybrid working arrangements and flexible working hours.
Responsibilities: Posting purchase invoices Maintaining leasing schedule for all new assets Completion of monthly bank reconciliation ensuring all bank payments and receipts are posted Preparing adjustments as necessary Prepare ad-hoc reports as required Assist with completion of VAT returns Additional tasks as required Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Suitable for an applicant with Accounting Technician qualification / part qualified accountant / Accounting & Finance graduate Excellent attention to detail Strong organisational ability Effective written & verbal communications skills Ability to consistently meet deadlines working as part of a team or individually Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel Requirements: - 2+ years' experience in an accounts based role with bookkeeping experience - Transport sector experience (not essential) Skills: Bookkeeper bank reconciliations vat returns
