One of our key clients have an opening for a Project Engineer within the Engineering team in Mayo who design and manage the engineering projects for the site. Duties include new installations and improvements to the existing manufacturing process.Project Engineers are responsible for executing projects within the framework of cGMPand in compliance with Global and localrequirements. Within this role, the Engineerwill lead and manage multiple projects, consulting with the projectteam and allassociated departments on site and ensuring work is completed to the specifiedquality, on time and within budget.Responsibilities:• Work in a safe manner and in compliance with all Health, Safety CEnvironment mandatory policies, standards, and procedures• Support and adhere to personnel and manufacturing policies and procedures• Adhere to the Change Control Management System for all changes to the existingprocess or the implementation of new systems• Ability to drive change by assessing opportunities, present proposals, gainsupport from key stakeholders, assemble relevant team members, obtainfinance, and manage budgets• Ability to write Design Specifications and complete equipment IQ/OQ/PQactivities as part of project execution• Ability to perform risk management, translate the results into action and executethe implementation plans• Plan and prioritise workload to ensure that agreed deadlines are achieved• Occasionally perform other engineering duties to supportthe operation, as themanagement may require• Be available to work outside core hours from time to time, to ensure projecttimelines are achieved• Take ownership of projects, participating in the audits ofthe various regulatoryagencies presenting to visitors as Subject Matter Expert• Work proactively and professionally with internal and external cross functionalteam members and third-party service providersJob Requirements:• Primary degree level education in Engineering (or equivalent combination oftraining and experience)• Minimum 5 years' experience in Pharmaceutical or Medicaldevice manufacturing equipment or processesDesirable:• Project Management training• Minimum 5 years' experience in related field• Experience in Construction/Facility systems/Utility systems/PharmaceuticalProcessing• Experience in commissioningAttractive hourly rate on offer.
