Responsibilities

1. Lead technology strategy and execution for Toast's business critical payments pricing platform
2. Drive delivery of business oues across multiple teams, including planning, implementation and operational monitoring in an efficient & effective manner
3. Collaborate closely partner teams including, Customer Care, Fintech Operations, Accounting, PM and UX to ensure cross functional required are delivered
4. Ensure quality end-to-end delivery of software, including team ownership of monitoring and production issue remediation
5. Incorporate advances in software technology into our solutions to ensure we make best advantage of industry best practices.
6. Nurture team talent and support career development for your team by fostering a culture of valuing feedback, learning and growth
7. Mentor and coach both new and experienced Engineering Managers & Team Leads
8. Hire great talent and grow teams to meet business needs

9. 8+ years of experience managing engineering teams
10. Experience building and operating software in a transactional SaaS environment
11. A bias towards action, with the ability to balance between getting things done and making things perfect
12. A proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization.
13. A strong sense of empathy for customers and teammates
14. A desire to build a diverse team that wins together and prioritizes customer success
