Job Summary

Embrace provides residential support services for adults and children with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and acquired brain injuries. We are seeking a Person in Charge (PIC) for our new Adults Residential Home in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary to lead the team and ensure high‑quality care.

Employment Details

Full‑time, Permanent

Salary: €55,000 – €65,000 per year


Responsibilities

As a Person in Charge, you will be responsible for the overall management of our adults residential house in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. The overall objective of the role is to ensure that the quality of service and care is always to the highest possible standard whilst adhering to regulatory requirements. You will also provide leadership and management to the team, ensuring that our vision and values are understood and acted upon.


Requirements

* Must hold a Level 7 Degree in Social Care (be registered with CORU) OR a Nursing Degree (be registered in the relevant Division of the Live Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)).
* Must have a minimum of three years of managerial experience within the Health or Social Care Sector.
* Must hold a recognised managerial qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
* Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Excited to work with a team and develop a new, leading residential support service.

Additional Details

Job Types: Full‑time, Permanent.

Pay: €55,000 – €65,000 per year.

Additional Pay: Performance bonus, Signing bonus.

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday.
