Electrical QAQC Lead
.
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to drive "Right First Time" across medium-to-large scale electrical installations.
This is a site-based role with travel within Europe.
Responsibilities
Own the electrical quality management system, ensuring compliance with IEC, BS EN, and local grid codes.
Maintain the Electrical QA/QC portal on Sensori Central with up-to-date wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and test records.
Lead internal and external audits of on-site cable installations, switchgear assembly, panel wiring, and protection systems.
Develop and control inspection and test plans (ITPs), wiring schedules, and technical checklists.
Track, investigate, and close out non-conformance and corrective actions, driving lessons learned into best practices.
Conduct internal audits of office procedures and on-site electrical works, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
Participate in client and certification body audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
Prepare reports on QA performance metrics (e.g., cable test pass rates, panel acceptance, audit closure times) and present insights to management.
Advise Project Managers and site teams on quality-related risks, mitigation strategies, and compliance requirements.
Update and maintain the Electrical Quality Plan, Quality Manual, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), ensuring test protocols are followed and results are logged.
Verify punch-list completion and final installation integrity prior to client handover.
Prepare comprehensive site QA/QC reports summarizing inspection outcomes, test results, non-conformances, and corrective action status for managerial review.
Liaise daily with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractor teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
Lead site quality meetings to communicate progress, risks, and best practices, reinforcing Sensori's commitment to excellence.
Essential Criteria
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
Proven QA/QC experience on large-scale electrical projects (power distribution, motor control centers, instrumentation).
In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear technical reports and leading audit debriefs.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
