About the Role
As a Shop Technician at Southeastern Equipment, you will perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of equipment, including both company-owned and customer-owned machines. While we are a CASE dealer, you'll work with over 80 different lines of equipment and attachments, making each day unique.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer standards.
* Complete certifications, ongoing education, and dealer training.
* Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment on shop floors and job sites.
* Operate heavy equipment and trucks safely.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles properly.
* Accurately complete paperwork and job records.
* Build positive relationships with customers and team members.
Qualifications & Experience
* GED/High School Diploma required; 2+ years of Diesel, Agricultural, Automotive, or Heavy Equipment Technology training or equivalent experience.
* 2-5 years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
* Basic tool set and storage required.
* Ability to read and understand instructions.
* Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Valid, insurable driver's license.
* Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening, including medical marijuana.
* Physical ability to lift 75 lbs or more.
