The role of Instrumentation Engineer offers a unique chance to be part of a leading energy manufacturing site in East Cork. This position involves providing technical design, focusing on safety, schedule, and cost management adherence, while ensuring compliance with good engineering practices, company policies, and all applicable regulations and codes of practice.

Key responsibilities include generating detailed scope of work packages for E/I and automation contractor for tender/procurement process, applying value engineering where possible. Additionally, you will identify and evaluate Instrumentation/Automation installations, integrity, and efficiency improvements.
\
As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will define Instrumentation requirements for capital projects and interact with internal & external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors for tender negotiation, cost estimates, constructability, and safety reviews. You will also provide input into Project Management regarding Instrumentation projects, including cost estimates, planning, and schedule reporting.

Requirements:
\
* 2-8 years industry experience
* Degree qualified in Applied Physics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent
* ATEX (Comp Ex) qualification preferred
* Broad range of experience with instrumentation, control, and safety systems, high/medium/low voltage equipment, and motor control
