Senior Accountant/Auditor

**Key Responsibilities:**
• Conduct comprehensive reviews to assess firms' compliance with regulatory frameworks and professional standards.
• Evaluate firms' processes and methodologies across a range of practising activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
• Critically assess audit and accounting work, focusing on key technical issues and providing actionable recommendations to enhance procedures, compliance, and overall quality.
• Engage in a broad range of challenging assignments offering unique insights into company performance and regulatory responses.
**Essential Criteria:**
• Fully qualified member of a Recognised Accountancy Body, with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a practice or regulatory environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of professional, technical, and ethical standards, including proficiency in IT systems relevant to accounting and auditing.
• Proven organisational and communication skills, including the ability to influence and engage clients effectively.
• Analytical mindset with a process-driven approach, capable of critically evaluating information and making informed decisions.
• Full clean driver's licence, with flexibility to travel as required.
