Financial Management Expert
Salary: €80-100k, 6-month contract with potential for extension.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in compliance with FRS 102. Additionally, they will oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in compliance with FRS 102.
* Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
* Provide financial analysis and insights to support business strategy and pricing models.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics, including weekly & monthly cashflow forecasts.
* Compile and process the company's bi-weekly payroll.
* Liaise with project teams to track project costs and profitability.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes.
* E nsure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll taxes.
* Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
* Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and financial regulations.
Commercially minded (Budgeting, Margin analysis, Financial Modelling).
Experience in managing a finance team.
