Your new companyYour new organisation is a large, specialised, tier one main building contractor who specialises in mission-critical projects across Ireland and Europe.They deliver Turnkey Data Centre Solutions, providing services from design, through to construction, across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services, as well as commissioning. They currently operate across seven different European countries.Your new roleWe have an opportunity for a CSA Construction Engineer on a major data centre project in Dublin. This is a key role with a leading a team whose focus is to ensure excellence in the delivery of a dynamic project environment.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a dynamic, well-rounded engineer with a demonstrated history of large-scale projects to ensure our data centre construction projects meet specified standards and client requirements.A degree in Civil Engineering or similar is essential.Ability to work on your own initiative3+ years' experience working on large-scale projectsExperience in facades and fit-out projectsPrevious data centre experience is advantageous.Key Responsibilities:Checking works carried out and ensuring quality control is maintained throughoutWork part of the Quality team to ensure finished works meet standards required, managing quality of the works set against approved benchmarks, actively coordinate with the QA managers to ensure the correct documentation is submitted in a timely manner by the contractors.Liaise with sub-contractor's on tracking progress against schedule and Carry out sub-contractor meetings.Manage site documentation.Attend and actively participate in Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning, Co-ordination and lookahead meetings, as well as Handover Meetings.Review drawings with design team and effectively solve any issues.Actively monitor and snag contractors works ensuring works is installed as per the approved drawings and spec ensuring the highest quality is achieved to ensure zero defects, snag list to be raised on the approved platform and issued to the contractors with follow up walks and close out reports to be issued in a timely manner as the approved QMS.What you'll get in returnIn return for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with the following:Salary ranging from €70,000 - €85,000The opportunity to work for a reputable company and be surrounded by a supportive team with the same determinationWork on high-end and luxury projects.Huge opportunity for career progression with a broad range of projects in the pipeline.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Hays Ireland is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment (Ireland) Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
