The individual in this role will deliver high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs, helping them develop life skills and achieve positive outcomes. Responsibilities include promoting emotional and physical well-being, managing day-to-day activities, implementing care plans, maintaining a safe residential environment, and fostering respectful relationships. The role requires working collaboratively with a team to ensure the safety, development, and welfare of the young people in care.QualificationsSkills in providing care, emotional support, and building relationships with young people with diverse needsBehavior management and conflict resolution skills to promote a safe and supportive environment for children and youthStrong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external professionalsOrganization and time-management skills to monitor and implement care plans and carry out daily activitiesA qualification in Social Care, Psychology, Youth Work, or a related field is highly desirableExperience in working with children or young people in residential or similar settings is an advantageCommitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young peopleA full driving license is preferred
