Job Description:
A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled QA Team Leader to join our client, a well-established high-tech manufacturer based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.
This is an exciting role that plays a key part in ensuring the company's products meet high standards and reach consumers with quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support QA Analysts across operations, driving efficiency and effectiveness within the team.
* Oversee QA inspections and ensure accurate quality records are maintained, adhering to industry standards.
* Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, conducting thorough root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
* Review and manage non-conforming material, minimizing its impact on production.
* Support internal audits (ISO 9001:2015) and site quality health assessments, maintaining compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
* Develop and implement training programs, documentation, and risk-based quality plans to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
* Ensure adherence to internal standards and regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality metrics reporting, monitoring progress and making data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
* 2-3 years' experience leading a team in a manufacturing or QA setting, with a proven track record of success.
* 3-4 years' experience in QA systems and processes, demonstrating a deep understanding of quality principles.
* Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members.
* Proficient in using quality tools (e.g. 6W2H, UPS) and root cause analysis methods, with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
* Experience with ISO:9001 and data integrity principles, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all aspects of quality management.
