Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager Position
In response to our continuous expansion, Tritech Group is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our Dublin-based team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery and stakeholder management of a large-scale €20M laboratory project in South Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Cost Management: Develop and implement project costs and budget plans to ensure timely and within-scope delivery.
* Team Leadership: Lead multiple project teams to guarantee contracts are delivered on time and within scope.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with key stakeholders to deliver all aspects of assigned projects with clients.
* Subcontractor Management: Manage and assess subcontractors' quality of work.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Oversee compliance with current Health & Safety legislation.
* Cost Control: Support the project Surveyor in managing and controlling contract costs and variations, providing regular reporting of cost projections to the Construction Director.
* Risk Management: Identify and manage programme risks, collaborating with design teams for early intervention to meet deliverables and deadlines.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Planning and Scheduling: Ensure high accuracy in Planning and Scheduling activities, developing and implementing project schedules aligned with key milestones and coordinating resources as needed.
* Material Procurement: Develop and monitor material procurement schedules to meet project timeline requirements.
Requirements:
* Education: A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
* Experience: 10+ years' experience in Construction or a similar industry is desirable.
* Project Delivery: Must demonstrate a track record of delivering projects in a timely manner and within budget.
* MS Office Proficiency: Proficient use of all MS Office programmes.
* Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate strong working relationships with stakeholder management.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Leadership Skills: Highly motivated, excellent management/motivational skills.
* Package: Package will be in line with qualifications and experience.
