As a Social Media Lead will be responsible for leading, developing and implementing our Social Media strategy to drive growth for our brand.Your Responsibilities As a Social Media Lead Will IncludeDevelop and execute a successful social media strategy that drives brand awareness, preference and considerationIdentify the relevant social KPIs that need to be achieved to unlock the next level of growthManage and oversee the creation of high quality content that aligns with our brand identityEstablish processes for uncovering the latest social media trends across all key channelsLead on the influencer strategy for the business; identifying the right creators that will help us to achieve our goalsWork collaboratively with people across the business including the wider marketing team, PR and communications, customer experience and more to deliver business objectives through social contentWork closely with our operations team, including cabin crew, pilots and ground operations to tell the stories of the people behind the Aer Lingus brandMeasure and analyse social performance metrics to understand our audiences better, using this insights to drive higher performanceIdentify new ways to engage with current and prospective customers across all social media platformsIdentify how to strategically grow social media presence in all key markets, with a particular focus on growth in North AmericaUnderstand the relationship between our organic and paid social media creative, working alongside all relevant teams to ensure creative is on brand and built for effectivenessYour Qualifications And Key CriteriaWe are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:Strong communication skills with experience of storytelling through contentExperience managing agency relationships, designers and content creatorsProven interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive professional relationshipsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex information in simplified termsProven ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a teamHigh energy and passion for social media, brand and peopleExcellent project management skillsProven ability to identify early-stage trends in social practice and opportunities for innovationExperience in creative/content development6 years experience in social media/digital content marketingExcellent knowledge of marketing discipline/processes and the social media landscapeFluent in English, both written and spokenEligible to live and work in the EUCurrent unrestricted worldwide passportProvide 3 verifiable referencesAble to pass a 5 year security background checkClosing Date:14th of October 2025At Aer Lingus, we embrace diversity and believe in providing equal opportunities to all qualified individuals.
