Quality Advisor/Internal Auditor

About The Job

We pride ourselves on being the contractor of choice for great clients and the workplace of choice for great people. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Advisor to join our internal Quality Audit Team to monitor and ensure the effective implementation of our quality and environmental management systems on our projects around Ireland, the UK and the European mainland. This role will be based in our Dublin Head Office but will include regular international travel. The Quality Advisor will play a key role in ensuring that all construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

* Quality Management System Implementation:
o To assist in the continual improvement and maintenance of the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with industry standards.
o Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
* Project Quality Oversight:
o To advise, and when necessary, assist site-based project management teams to meet or exceed all client expectations and specifications and relevant construction standards.
o To conduct monthly internal Quality & Environmental Audits of projects to identify opportunities for improvement and score projects for compliance with the requirements of company IMS procedures.
o To work closely with project teams to identify potential quality and environmental issues, conduct root cause analyses and develop and oversee the implementation of effective corrective actions.
o To assist site management teams in the preparation of Quality Control documentation, e.g. Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Inductions, etc.
o To promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the organization.
Qualifications And Experience

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality management within the construction industry.
* A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or an equivalent professional qualification in a related field would be preferred.
* An ISO 9001 internal auditor’s qualification
* A Professional certification in quality management (e.g. MCQI, IRCA) would be desirable and any successful candidate without this will be encouraged and assisted to achieve a professional charter at the earliest opportunity.
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards 9001, 14001, and industry best practices.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* A full Irish Driving Licence
