Accountant Full or Part-Time Location: Athy, Co. Kildare (Hybrid available after onboarding) Start Date: As soon as possible We are recruiting an experienced Accountant on behalf of our client, a well-established business based in Athy, Co. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Lead to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions across several entities Process monthly payment runs Record and reconcile bank transactions Prepare monthly management accounts to reporting deadlines Prepare and review bi-monthly VAT submissions Assist with annual budget preparation Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as required Maintain familiarity with RCT and Corporation Tax filing requirements Required Skills and Attributes Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Strong numerical and analytical skills Previous experience in a similar role or in practice accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other IT systems Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities Preferred Experience using Xero accounting software Background in a multi-company and multi-currency environment Additional Information Training and support will be provided where needed Competitive salary commensurate with experience Hybrid working available after an initial onboarding perio
