Job Description
A Production Planner is required to join our growing facility in Sligo. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for forecasting and planning the efficient production of high-quality vaccines.
In this critical position, you will work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate timelines, minimize downtime, and maximize resource efficiency. You will also be responsible for coordinating with Engineering to balance maintenance windows with production needs and tracking inventory levels to support production schedules.
This role requires strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent organizational and time management capabilities. If you have a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in production scheduling within the pharmaceutical sector, we would like to hear from you.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of production scheduling experience in a GMP-regulated environment
* Proficiency in MS Excel and experience using ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards
* Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
* Exceptional organisational and time management capabilities
