OverviewWe are recruiting for a Branch Manager in our Galway Branch here at AXA Ireland on a fixed term contract.Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of the Branch Sales Office to achieve performance targets across sales revenue and PIF growth, staff engagement, customer service excellence and compliance and quality standards. The Branch Manager will lead internal and external proactive activity across local Affinity, Agri and Commercial development and will be responsible for staff coaching and development and overall performance management.What You'll Be DoingManage all aspects of the Branch Sales Office, promoting a One Stop AXA Shop for Retail and (segmented) Commercial Insurance to deliver objectives in the Branch business activity plan.Drive branch profitability and sustainability through strong premium and PIF local market growth with a visible local market and community presence.Manage and support full resource utilization through a mix of footfall, inbound and outbound telephony, and fulfilment activity.Promote simplification and self-service, with a customer-first, human-touch approach, reducing non-value branch activities.Leverage the local customer base with tailored engagement (internal and external) via omni-channel methods (MS Teams, phone, branch visits, field calls) aligned to Customer profiles.Develop trusted relationships through proactive business, community and affinity engagement.Manage staff performance in line with HR Policies & Procedures through coaching, development and support to deliver the behaviours needed for a successful retail business.Ensure adherence to regulatory, legislative, governance, cash handling and expense procedures to conduct business compliantly.Participate in cross-functional departmental projects when required and identify market trends through local data analysis with feedback for change considerations.QualificationsMust be MCC Qualified in Personal and Commercial General Insurance (Essential)Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar/financial services role with proven ability to manage a team (Essential)Full clean driving licence (Essential)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Excel & Outlook (Essential)Clear understanding of Performance Management to support the delivery of branch objectivesExcellent understanding of products and branch Administration (incl. legislative, compliance and Health & Safety requirements and Branch Security Procedures)Strong track record of effective Networking with key stakeholders across the businessThis role is an allocated Controlled Function under Fitness & Probity Regime with enhanced background screening; more information is available on the careers pageAs a precondition of employment, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the Republic of IrelandThis recruitment campaign may be used to support permanent, temporary and/or extension for upcoming similar positionsTo be considered, you will be redirected to the careers page to complete the application process (Apply button to Login/Register)
