Essential Criteria
Have the Diploma of the College of Radiographers (Diagnostic) or have a Bachelor of Science or its equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography.
Be CORU registered.
In receipt of a recognised post-graduate qualification in Ultrasound
Have a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in Radiography.
Three years post-graduate ultrasound experience
Demonstrate experience of working with a team of Radiographers and other disciplines.
Ability to work autonomously in Ultrasound and other Radiology modalities.
Vascular Ultrasound experience
Desirable Criteria
Have an interest in quality initiatives for the Ultrasound Service.
MSK Ultrasound experience
Training in another modality: MRI, CT or PET
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Have proven ability to work under pressure.
Be able to deal with staff and management at all levels within the organisation.
Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
Have a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative.
