We are seeking to hire a Part-Qualified/Qualified Accountant in our Kinsale office.
Full time hours: 35 hrs per week (in office work only). Working hours are Monday-Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am-4pm.
Responsibilities
Management of multiple jobs ensuring the key objectives are delivered as required and in a timely manner
Experience of preparing and/or reviewing of VAT, PAYE, income tax & corporation tax returns
Liaise with clients on queries relating to Revenue requirements, Companies Registration Office (CRO) filings, and Irish GAAP/FRS 102/FRS 105
Preparation and review of financial statements
Compliance with Irish tax legislation, filing deadlines, and regulatory standards
The use of Sage Accounts Production and SAGE Line 50
Candidate Profile
Resident of Ireland
2 to 3 years experience in Irish Accounting practice (Essential)
Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients on your portfolio
Self-motivation and capability of working on your own initiative
Strong organisational and time management skills
Committed to obtaining a professional qualification
Be a natural team player, comfortable working closely in a team environment
Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks and focus on meeting deadlines
Experience of payroll
