Job Opportunity: Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team in a stand-alone role.

">

This is an exciting opportunity for you to build and shape the HR function from the ground up, making a lasting impact on the organization's success.

In this position, you will take full ownership of all HR-related activities, including creating and implementing policies and procedures, managing the employee lifecycle, delivering onboarding and training, and ensuring compliance across all HR processes.

">

Your key responsibilities will include:

">
* Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, contracts, and employee handbooks.
">
* Managing the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, inductions, starter forms, contracts, and exits.
">
* Overseeing HR administration, ensuring all employee records, training records, and certifications are accurate and compliant.
">
* Supporting facilities management requirements as needed.
">
* Working with department heads on health and safety matters, ensuring compliance and best practice.
">
* Leading recruitment processes, liaising with external recruiters, managing job boards, and coordinating interviews.
">
* Designing and delivering effective onboarding and in-house training programs.
">
* Providing advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR best practices.
">
* Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
">
* Contributing to ISO accreditation processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
">

To succeed in this role, you will need:

">
* Proven experience in a stand-alone HR role, ideally within a fast-paced or growing organization.
">
* Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
">
* Experience with ISO accreditation processes (desirable).
">
* Confidence in facilities management and health and safety collaboration.
">
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
">
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all levels.
">
* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects.
">
