Financial Accountant – 11-Month Contract (Hybrid, Dublin)
Hourly Rate: €52–58 | Work Arrangement: 3 days per week on-site
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Accountant to join a dynamic international compliance and finance team in Dublin on an 11-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a fast-growing multinational organisation, supporting complex international operations across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage US GAAP and local GAAP reporting for multiple EMEA entities.
* Lead processes for liquidation of dormant entities and support M&A activities.
* Prepare Corporation Tax and VAT returns, statutory financial statements, and coordinate statutory audits.
* Review work performed by outsourced partners and liaise with auditors and external parties.
* Support the Finance team in design, testing, and roll-out of financial reporting tools, systems, and processes.
* Initiate and manage process improvement projects to build scalable solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, treasury, finance) across multiple countries.
Candidate Requirements – Must-Have
* +8 years of accounting experience, including more than 2 years post-qualification (PQE) in a large multinational environment.
* Proven experience in liquidation of entities and managing M&A activities.
* Exposure to local accounting across countries outside of the UK & Ireland.
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; experience with Oracle ERP or similar desirable.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and driven to continuously improve processes.
* Annual compliance and audit experience.
* Experience across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
