If this sounds interesting, we'd like to meet you.Job SummaryAnord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world's largest companies.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Indirect Procurement Buyer located in Dundalk.Reporting to the Regional Indirect Procurement Manager, the Senior Indirect Procurement Buyer will be tasked with coordinating activities involved with procuring indirect materials for facilities and capex approved spend.What a typical day looks like:Using different forms of caring– e-auction, sealed, open careIn-direct Procurement of non-standard materials on aQuire basisOngoing and close participation with cross-functional teams, the global IP team and the Flex GBS teamProcessing the requests received in the aQuire system within 48 hours, sending out the request for proposal.Compare the offers and select the best one - Cost and Quality.Interpreting contracts, dealing with the legal department representative and cross-functional areas, arranging signatures and ensuring mailing.Managing the recruitment of suppliersTracking goods from procurement to receiptOverall management of global projects, knowledge of KPI's and drive to meet themAgile participation in English language conference calls, meetings, representing the IP teamConstant liaison with suppliers and peersKnowledge of and compliance with the procurement processes defined in the integrated management systemSending out samples, organising transport with the help of transport managers where necessaryRequesting and documenting safety data sheetsContinuous monitoring, maintenance and updating of minimum stocks (as part of the job)Handling and processing of Titan and APPreparation and recording of reportsThe experience we're looking to add to our team:Typically requires a relevant degree and 5 years procurement experienceBackground in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering would be advantageousProficient with MS Office, particularly Excel, as well as ten-key, spreadsheet (PC) and ERP softwareAbility to read, research and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsExperience in writing reports, business correspondence and procedures and to effectively present information and acknowledges to questions from groups.Experience in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply common sense comprehension to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
