Our client – one of Ireland’s leading Telco companies, is looking for a mid-level UX / UI Designer for a 12 month contract (with the possibility of permanent).
The ideal candidate will be based in Ireland as there is a requirement to attend the office in Dublin for one day per week.
This UX/UI Designer role is responsible for the user experience and creative direction of the company website and apps. Our client seeks someone with a focus on user-centered design, leveraging research and design skills to improve KPIs.
The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for:
* Delivering best-in-class UX and UI design across desktop & mobile.
* Leading research activities such as stakeholder interviews, problem-framing workshops, user testing, etc.
* Developing core UX assets like personas, user scenarios, customer journey maps, IA, wireframes, and prototypes.
* Defining and refining information architecture across digital platforms.
* Creating UI concepts for digital sites and apps.
* Applying a user-centric approach to design, development, and implementation of customer-facing projects.
* Managing multiple projects and deadlines, updating the team, and pre-empting issues.
* Bringing the brand to life digitally and supporting online as the primary sales and service channel.
* Owning digital brand guidelines and designing digital assets, leading designers, and managing content editors.
* Ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.2 and EU Accessibility Standards.
* Collaborating with product owners and developers during build and delivery phases.
* Communicating progress and learnings with stakeholders.
* Working collaboratively in an agile environment.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of relevant experience.
* Relevant degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Cyberpsychology, or related fields.
* Strong skills in UX and UI design.
* Experience with user-centered design.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
* Creative and analytical thinking.
* Ability to work independently and proactively.
* Experience in fast-paced environments.
* Team player with multi-disciplinary collaboration skills.
* Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Online portfolio demonstrating research, personas, UX flows, maps, wireframes, prototypes, and testing.
* Experience leading user research and presenting findings.
* Ability to identify user pain points through research and testing.
* Comfort with design systems and asset libraries in Figma.
* Knowledge of emerging design trends, AI tools, and research tools.
