Job Description
We are currently looking for two dairy farm assistants to support daily dairy farm operations, ensuring efficient milk production and high animal welfare standards.
Key Duties
Milking cows and maintaining milking equipment.
Feeding livestock and monitoring animal health.
Assisting with calving and calf-rearing.
Cleaning sheds, parlours, and farm areas.
Operating basic farm machinery (tractors, feeders, etc.).
Reporting health issues, equipment faults, or hazards.
Following farm safety, hygiene, and biosecurity procedures.
Skills & Requirements
Experience with livestock, preferably dairy cows.
Ability to perform physical, outdoor work.
Basic animal welfare knowledge.
Reliability, good communication, and willingness to learn.
Working Conditions
Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and rostered shifts. Indoor/outdoor farm environment in varying weather.
Remuneration
€36,605.00 per year based on 39 hours of work per week.
