Electrical Design Lead
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Lead to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for tendering and execution of customer projects, as well as preparing primary drawings and bills of quantities for engineered items.
The role involves coordinating engineering assignments across multiple projects within the entire value chain, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical design principles and processes, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support for tendering and execution of customer projects
* Prepare primary drawings and bills of quantities for engineered items
* Coordinate engineering assignments across multiple projects
* Ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in power systems engineering, utility/industrial substations
Proactive, result-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Skilled communicator who can interface with numerous external and internal parties and stakeholders at all levels
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including CAD system
Strong commitment to safe work practices and high level of self-motivation
