Contracts Manager – Dublin City
Our client is a well-established main contractor with extensive operations across Ireland, delivering complex building and civil engineering projects across sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, retail, and infrastructure.
The Role
They are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their senior management team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring contracts are effectively managed from pre-construction through to handover, while maintaining strong commercial and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the full contract lifecycle, including tendering, negotiations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
* Oversee commercial performance and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Support project delivery teams by providing contractual and commercial guidance.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.
* Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
* Provide regular progress and commercial reports to senior management.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Contracts Manager role within construction or civil engineering.
* Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial management, and construction processes.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
* Relevant degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
