Our vision is an Ireland where people facing end of life or bereavement, and those who care for them, are provided with the care and support that they need.Through advocacy and education, and the provision of services such as Nurses for Night Care and the Bereavement Support Line and our national programmes such as Hospice Friendly Hospitals, Dying Well at Home and Caru – Supporting Care Compassion at End of Life in Nursing Homes, Adult Bereavement Programme and Irish Childhood Bereavement Network, IHF works to ensure that every person in Ireland can die and grieve well, whatever their age and wherever the place.About the RoleJob Purpose: Individual Giving Executive is a key role within Individual Giving Team with responsibility for managing a variety of donor recruitment and marketing campaigns in order to maintain and grow income from individuals. The role has a strong focus on donor care, data processing and income delivery.Salary: €37,338 – €43,927 depending on experienceContract Type:Permanent, full timeJob Location: Our offices are based on Nassau St., Dublin 2. We have a hybrid work model in place (a minimum requirement of 2 days a week in the office).Reporting to: Individual Giving ManagerResponsibilities:Project manage the delivery of IHF annual mailing schedule, including donor care newsletters, donor acquisition and development appealsManage third party suppliers (agencies, printers, etc.) to ensure projects are rolled out on time and within budgetManage the acknowledgment process, ensuring IHF fundraising CRM is kept accurate at all timesGenerate regular results (response rate, average gift, ROI etc.) and provide end of campaign reports with analysis and recommendations to maximise income from future campaignsWork closely with the Individual Giving Manager to target individual donors appropriately and manage data selections according to campaignProject manage the delivery of IHF annual digital fundraising campaignsProject manage the rollout of IHF annual tax back appealAssist and work with the Individual Giving Manager in the rollout of IHF legacy giving programmeWork with the Digital Fundraising Co-ordinator on all online advertisements and social media communicationsManage all email communications to donorsAny other tasks as may be assigned by the manager or designated person.Qualifications and ExperienceIHF is open to applications from candidates who have experience in most but not all of the following areas.The successful candidate will be supported through their induction to increase their knowledge and ability to deliver on the responsibilities outlined here. Further training and ongoing support will be available.Essential:Minimum of 2 years' experience in Fundraising (ideally Individual Giving) and proven track record of achieving targetsAbility to work to agreed financial targets and budgetsAbility to work to deadlines and to manage several campaigns/appeals simultaneouslyA working knowledge or experience of GDPRAn understanding of best practices for donor retention and recruitmentGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Good working knowledge of fundraising CRM systems – IHF uses Raiser's Edge NXTExcellent organisational, administration and time management skillsExcellent communication skillsExcellent attention to detailEnthusiastic, warm and friendly mannerDesirable:3rd level qualification preferably in marketing, communications or related areasExperience in digital and/or online fundraisingExperience in using digital marketing platforms such as MailChimpGood working knowledge of design software (Canva, Adobe)The above Job Specification is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties involved, and, consequently, the post holder may be required to perform other duties as appropriate to the post that may be assigned to them from time to time and to contribute to the development of the post while in office.Benefits Include:PensionAs a member you will be required to make a pension contribution of 5% on your gross annual salary.
