About the Role: This is a new position as part of a project aimed at providing support to individuals, families and communities. The successful candidate will work with clients to promote positive mental wellbeing, increase resilience and prevent the deterioration of existing mental and emotional distress. The role involves providing support to individuals with mild/moderate mental health needs, facilitating group work sessions, delivering mindfulness and stress reduction programs, and working alongside other professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting and record keeping. * Provide advocacy and support to service users; * Facilitate group work sessions; * Deliver mindfulness and stress reduction programs; * Work alongside programme co-ordinators to ensure timely and accurate reporting and record keeping; * Develop and deliver training to clients and service users as required; The ideal candidate will have a 3rd level qualification in Mental Health or Social Studies, at least 3 years experience working in a Mental Health or Community Development/Engagement role, and experience of designing and delivering group programmes.
