You will have the opportunity to work within the MLOps capability to enhance the Data Scientist experience. The goal is faster deployment of ML models in production to enable speedy experimentation and model development, streamlining ML model development and deployment, and reducing time to market. We are eager to find individuals who work with integrity by ensuring approved data access patterns and implementing mechanisms to facilitate model scalability and performance monitoring.
Experience and skills we need:
- Proficient in Python, with a foundational understanding of Machine Learning concepts.
- A third-level qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science or STEM subject and 3 years' software development experience in a commercial environment; or current and valid industry-recognized certifications and 5 years' software development experience in a commercial environment.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, particularly their AI/ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform).
- Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration of machine learning workflows.
- Experience in feature or function design and delivery as part of an agile software development team (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.).
- Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, including Product Owners, Data Scientists, customers, end-users, or stakeholders.

- Working with a team to solve complex business problems by delivering high-quality software that provides an outstanding experience for customers.
- Contributing to architecture or design with support from senior team members.
- Writing clean code according to team standards and seeking improvements.
- Owning, scoping, and delivering defined stories or features, and communicating progress regularly.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to maximize value.
- Implementing automated testing, security processes, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Growing knowledge of architecture, engineering principles, and design patterns.
- Assessing and implementing new technologies based on business value.
- Sharing knowledge through tech talks, blogging, and external events, supported by senior team members.
