Job Description
The Group Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a comprehensive health, safety, and environmental management system across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the Health, Safety & Environmental Management System (HSEMS) in alignment with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
* Coordinate external audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
* Maintain all statutory documentation including safety statements, risk assessments, RAMS permits to work,
* Analyse incidents near misses good catches corrective actions ensuring root causes are identified proactive actions implemented always comply group procedures legal obligations provide technical guidance project planning review analyse H&S KPIs board meetings support HR development wellbeing strategies culture awareness training communication integration employee engagement campaigns daily liaison Health Authority coordinate responses inspections notices monitor safety field operations tower climbing rigging electrical works supervise site audits reporting close-out remediation plans conduct site visits verify contractor prequalification induction reviews audit schedules throughout duty span.
The role requires expertise in occupational health. a proven track record managing HSEQ systems adherence Irish legislation company policies.
The ideal candidate should hold a degree or diploma occupational health environment level qualified PSDP PSCS qualification minimum years experience similar industry preferably telecom utilities engineering full clean driving license ability travel Dublin region.
