HVAC Service Technician Role in Cork
We seek an experienced HVAC Technician for a new challenge. As part of our team, you will work on high-profile projects across commercial and industrial sites.
The Job Description:
You will be responsible for carrying out remedial works and maintenance services on various HVAC systems. This includes planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to ensure optimal plant operation and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of commercial rooftop heating and cooling equipment.
* Diagnose and repair faults in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
* Inspect HVAC systems and recommend preventive maintenance solutions.
* Install and maintain HVAC equipment, including split AC units, VRV systems, fan coil units, air handling units, boilers, and pumping systems.
* Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order.
* Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
* Take part in an on-call rota every 8-10 weeks.
Requirements:
* Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning QQI Level 6 qualification or similar.
* Minimum of 2 years post-apprenticeship experience preferred.
* Full, clean driver's license.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including maintenance and repair.
* Previous experience in facility systems and commercial HVAC plant servicing.
