The Lunch Bag, one of Ireland’s fastest growing companies, is expanding and is seeking a School Meals - Fitter/CareTaker to join our team.
We are a school meal service focused on providing healthy, hot meals to students and supporting schools in delivering nutritious options. This role supports readiness and ongoing maintenance of kitchen equipment in schools.
Responsibilities
Assess the best area in the school for their oven
Ensure the area is prepared for its new purpose
Repair ovens where necessary
Train new operatives on how to work ovens
Ensure that the operative is visited regularly to maintain standards
What We’re Looking For
Have a full and clean Irish driving licence
Enjoy driving and fixing things
Be patient with training people
Have lots of common sense
Love fast-paced work
Think on your feet
Have a proactive and outgoing personality
Want to make a real difference
Help maintain a positive team environment
Role Details
Job type: Full-time, 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday
Salary: €33,000 per year
