Our reputable client, a leading name in bespoke kitchen design and manufacturing, is seeking an Installation & Logistics Operations Manager to lead their Logistics and Installation operations across Ireland and the UK. They have a very impressive turnover and are growing rapidly. They now need someone who can match their pace, bring strategic thinking, and ensure that everything from production to final installation runs smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Leading from the front: Hire, train, and inspire manufacturing, logistics, and installation teams.
2. Owning the operations: Oversee scheduling, deliveries, fleet management, and installation planning.
3. Project shepherding: Act as the key liaison to ensure kitchens are delivered and installed with excellence.
4. Driving improvement: Identify ways to streamline, automate, and enhance operations as the company scales.
5. Export logistics: Manage cross-border logistics and compliance for the UK customer base.
What You Bring to the Table:
* 5+ years of experience in operations or manufacturing management.
* Change management experience within a scaling or growing organization.
* Proven leadership skills, with experience leading production teams and improving performance.
* Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement tools.
* Strong understanding of ERP systems and operational visibility.
* Problem-solving skills, strategic planning, and effective communication across teams.
* Bonus: Experience in furniture or kitchen manufacturing.
Desirable Extras:
* Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.
* Experience with ISO standards (especially ISO14001) and health & safety compliance.
* Background in managing logistics for exports and fleet operations.
* Experience in managing change within a scaling business.
