Overview
The Hoxton is opening its very first hotel in Ireland in Dublin. The Hoxton, Dublin will feature 129 bedrooms, a lobby bar, historic bar, large ground floor restaurant and lobby restaurant, and a nightclub. We are assembling a team to bring the Hox experience to this new market.
What you’ll do
* You’re the first face our guests see, and you have your own way of making them feel welcome and their stay special.
* Handle guest arrivals and departures, ensure accuracy of bills, and maintain smooth front desk operations.
* Collaborate with all teams to maintain busy service levels and support the Front Office Manager with overbooking management.
* Ensure data accuracy across systems and generate daily reports for relevant departments per standard operating procedures.
* Answer phones, handle requests, provide recommendations on local shows and dining options, acting as the guest’s one-stop information point.
Qualifications
* Individually minded with a positive, can-do attitude; no uniforms-only approach.
* Passion for hospitality and a drive to exceed guest expectations.
* Strong organizational and communication skills; able to assist and engage with guests confidently.
* Willingness to contribute to a collaborative team, with a flexible approach to getting things done.
* Experience with Micros Fidelio Opera or another front desk system preferred.
* Ability to deliver memorable guest experiences and maintain composure in a busy environment.
