OverviewWe are currently seeking to recruit a Relief Pharmacist for our stores across Wexford. This role is a permanent full‑time position and covers a range of stores throughout the county. Through this opportunity you will gain great insight into the brands under Uniphar. Within our relief rosters we try to establish a regular order of stores you will support, so that you can best get to know the teams and customers in each location. All relief rosters are provided 6 to 8 weeks in advance.What We OfferReimbursement of PSI fees annuallyFunding for vaccination trainingA Pension Scheme with a company contribution of up to 7% of the annual salaryCPD hours allowance annuallyPremium rate on Sunday shifts (1.5x normal rate)Refer a friend policy for eligible roles (up to 2000 euros)Employee assistance programme with Spectrum Life wellbeing platformRelief – mileage coverage outside of base storeResponsibilities of the RoleTo assist the Supervising Pharmacist in meeting operational standards and implementing company initiativesWork with the team to find care solutions for our customers and patientsAssist in the professional, clinical, ethical and financial running of the pharmacy in line with company and industry regulationsAssist in group healthcare and company/marketing eventsCommunicate with the team on business performance and new initiativesTo partake in staff training events and encourage and support the development of the teamReport to the Pharmacist Regional Manager on store and employee performanceQualifications, Experience and Characteristics RequiredMember of the Pharmaceutical Society of IrelandPrevious experience in Irish community pharmacy is an advantage but full training will be given to those coming from other backgroundsProven people managementEnthusiastic, self‑motivated with excellent people skills, confidence and demonstrable clinical knowledgeExcellent communication skills and be acutely aware of customer needs while also being commercially astuteHave a key focus on patients and customers ensuring exemplary face‑to‑face interactions
