Overview
The Executive Finance Assistant role comprises two key areas: acting as Executive Assistant to the CEO, providing high-level admin, logistical and project support to ensure smooth executive operations and governance, and providing support to the Finance Department. The role helps optimise the CEO’s time, ensures robust systems, and coordinates Board activities. Within the Finance Team, the role involves maintaining records, handling correspondence and managing office supplies, with support to all members of the Finance Team. The role also involves collaborating with staff across the organisation to promote regulatory, legal, and operational compliance across a range of functional areas.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-level administrative, logistical, and project support to the CEO to optimise executive time and governance activities.
* Support the Finance Department with record maintenance, correspondence handling, and office supply management.

Role Criteria / Qualifications
* Must be educated to Leaving Cert level (or equivalent) and have pursued further studies in Office Administration, Business, or another relevant discipline.
* At least 3 years experience in a busy office environment.
* Strong IT aptitude with advanced MS Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
* Experience of consulting with Senior Management and Board members.
* Experience working in a highly confidential environment.
* Fluency in English, written and verbal; excellent communication skills.
* Flexible attitude; ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.
* Outstanding organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines and keep stakeholders informed.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work within a dynamic environment; excellent time management.
* Strong work ethic; willingness to learn and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
* Willingness to help colleagues and travel when required.
* Full driver’s licence with access to own vehicle.
Terms & Conditions
* Permanent, full-time contract (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
* Based at Family Carers Ireland, Market Square, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
* Hybrid model with flexibility to work from home; defined contribution pension scheme available.
* Annual leave entitlement: 26 days per year.
