Commercial and Business Development Leader
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to join our organisation as a Commercial and Business Development Manager. This is a key position that will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our commercial strategy, contributing to revenue growth and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy, identifying new business opportunities and partnerships.
* Drive revenue growth through innovative business channels, strategic partnerships, and market positioning.
* Collaborate with senior leadership on pricing, market analysis, and product development.
* Manage forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting for commercial activities.
* Support the development of funding strategies and contribute to strategic planning and wider business decision-making.
* Lead and grow the commercial team, overseeing recruitment, performance management, and commercial project delivery.
* Ensure strong financial controls and compliance across all commercial activities.
* Present updates to the CEO and board as required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior commercial or business development role, preferably in financial services, lending, banking, or fintech.
* Strong background in developing and executing successful commercial strategies, managing revenue targets, pipelines, and performance metrics.
* Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Familiarity with capital raising or debt funding is advantageous.
* Relevant degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
