Job Overview

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving automation, validation, and continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment.

This is a high-impact role that combines leadership, technical expertise, and innovation, requiring the ability to specify precise new equipment functional requirements, design, test, and integrate components to produce final designs, evaluate design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety, and develop and implement supporting documentation, SOPs, and process work instructions in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

You will provide technical leadership within the facility, applying broad knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and procedures to deliver complex assignments that directly support the manufacture of life-saving neurovascular devices.

* Specify precise new equipment functional requirements
* Design, test, and integrate components to produce final designs
* Evaluate design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety
* Develop and implement supporting documentation, SOPs, and process work instructions in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
* Provide technical leadership and guidance for Process/Maintenance Technicians and other Manufacturing/Equipment Engineers
* Lead process validation activities (VP, IQ, OQ, PQ) and associated documentation
* Apply Value Centred Engineering principles to achieve improvements in quality, service, and cost
* Support the development of a world-class manufacturing group through process improvement and problem-solving using Six Sigma tools
* Monitor line performance, analyse data, and execute structured event plans to resolve systemic issues affecting operational performance

Requirements:
Level 8 Honours Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum of 4 + years' experience in a medical devices manufacturing environment
