Job Summary
To lead a team and manage operations, you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of people management and beverage operations meet company requirements. This includes managing day-to-day activities, maintaining financial information systems, and ensuring the visitor experience is at a world-class level.
The ideal candidate will have approved catering qualifications and/or 5 years industry experience, with 2 years in a cafe management or department deputy role. They will also have a passion for fresh food and service, as well as excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily site operations to a high standard, aligning with client contract and General Manager direction
* Maintain accurate financial records, adhering to Aramark Ireland requirements
* Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures, including Petty Cash, lodgements, and Safe Checks
* Deliver exceptional visitor experiences across the site, meeting service and financial KPIs
* Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to foster an inclusive workplace culture
* Provide regular reports to the General Manager on budgeted KPIs, team training, and customer satisfaction
* Oversee quality and safety compliance, ensuring all relevant regulations are met
* Develop strong relationships with department heads and key stakeholders
* Lead beverage service operating standards, promoting excellence in this area
* Regularly visit and interact with teams across the site, owning the environment and attitude
* Identify opportunities for growth and investigate targets with the General Manager
* Support the General Manager in performance appraisals and development plans
* Recruit, train, and develop staff in collaboration with Departmental Heads
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess:
* Approved catering qualification at diploma/degree level or 5 years industry experience, with 2 years in a cafe management or department deputy role
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and facilities management
* Passion for fresh food and service
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lead and motivate teams, driving results-oriented performance
* Professionalism and the ability to present business information effectively
* Advanced written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms, with a bonus if familiar with booking systems
